Our pricing structure is designed for your benefit, not our profits.
So here’s everything else about pricing.

  • Seasonal suspension allows you to pay a minimal fee during months when you’re not in residence.
    Our basic rate is $5 / month. This allows for minimal Internet access - just enough to check e-mail..
    For $9.95 / month you’ll have a level of service which supports remote camera activity.

  • Changing your service plan can be done at any time for no extra charge, Call us - and the new plan is immediately implemented.

  • These aren’t promotional prices - they won’t increase after a year. (Some providers almost double their fees after the introductory fees!)
    While we can’t guarantee that rates won’t rise, historically this has never happened. If anything, we’ve provided more bandwidth for the same price.
    Customers love this — others think we’re nuts!

  • Payment for service is due by the middle of the month in question. If we haven’t received your payment by then, a $5 late fee will be added to your next invoice.

    If we haven’t received payment by the end of the month, Your account becomes delinquent., and your service level will be reduced to a minimum speed. (It will allow critical communications such as email and V.O.I.P. phone service.) An additional $5 reconnect fee will added to that month’s invoice. Your service level will be restored once payment is received.

  • We are shifting to a new card payment system. Until that is completed, we cannot accept credit or debit cards.

    We’ll be happy to advise you about direct bank payment methods which cost nothing, and we also accept checks.

  • You can rent a router from us for $5/month, This includes customer support for router issues, for example if they’re connections get mixed up, or if you’d benefit from changing the operating frequency in the house. (FYI, competitors usually charge more for this.)
    You may also purchase your own router, but we do not provide support for your own equipment. We can recommend contractors to assist you.
    Many customers choose the convenience and peace of mind of a rented router.

  • We use a wide range of radios to provide service for our customers (the cost of which is included in our monthly fee) The model chosen depends on the received signal strength at the location - weaker signals require large radios. Occasionally, to provide service, we need to install a significantly larger radio. These can cost twice as much as our top end standard equipment. In these situations we add on a $5 surcharge for the first 1-2 years of service, depending on the cost of the unit installed.

  • Occasionally due to normal wear and tear, or extreme weather, our equipment can fail. Included in your monthly fee is a $5.00 “assurance fee” so in these situations there is no charge to replace the equipment.
    However we do expect our customers to handle our equipment with care (an industry standard.) If through abusive handling our equipment is damaged, you will be charged for a replacement. (As a point of reference, our standard radios cost between $75 -$ 250.) The most common cause of self-inflicted damage is construction work. Tell your contractors to be careful!!
